Phil Moloney- Managing Director

After more than 25 years in the industry, Phil Moloney decided it was time to apply his vast experience and knowledge to his own business, and Strike Shopfitting was born.

Phil is renowned in the industry for his honest approach, commitment to client needs and depth of understanding of both shopfitting and joinery processes. Phil is results driven and takes a “hands on” approach in all aspects of the business, and ensures he is involved and across all jobs right from maintenance works to large scale fitouts. Phil prides himself on delivering projects on time and with premium level finishes, a testimony to his management style and expertise.

Prior to starting Strike, Phil was a Senior Project Manager at Australasian Retail Projects, one of Australia’s largest shopfitting firms at the time, starting out as tradesman and working his way up through the business over 18 years.

Phil is a registered Commercial Building practitioner and has a Level IV certificate in Occupational Health and Safety for Commercial Builders.

Jo Moloney - Director

From foundation, Jo has overseen the financial and operational aspects of Strike. Jo has vast experience in management of construction style businesses and applies those skills to ensure that Strike’s administration is efficient and effective at all times. In addition, as a Director of Strike, she works with Phil and Kate to make strategic decisions about Strike and its operations.

Kate Ruddell - General Manager

Kate started at Strike in 2009 and is a Chartered Accountant, who after over 7 years in professional practice joined the Strike business in the role of General Manager. 

In professional practice Kate worked closely with a number of clients, of varying sizes and industries, and as a result brought to Strike a broad range of skills, including client liaison, problem-solving, time management, and people and business management.

Kate has applied these skills at Strike and as a result has a varying range of responsibilities at Strike, and works closely with Phil to ensure she has hands on involvement through all facets of both the projects underway and the overall business. Kate works to ensure that client expectations are met at all times, whilst ensuring the business behind the scenes is run smoothly.

Kate is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts (Australia) and has a Level IV certificate in Occupational Health and Safety for Commercial Builders.

Craig Axiak – Factory Manager

Craig joined Strike in 2010 and is a highly skilled joiner with over 35 years of experience in the shopfitting industry.

As Strike’s factory manager, he prides himself on ensuring that all joinery manufactured by Strike is of the highest calibre. Craig specializes in breaking down plans and finding workable solutions. His level of attention to detail is second to none, and when combined with his knowledge and experience the result is joinery of the highest quality.

Aaron Kohn - Purchasing and Logistics

Aaron manages all purchasing and logistics arrangements for Strike and is invaluable in ensuring that Strike meets its expectations in regards to quality and timeframe. Aaron works tirelessly to ensure that both the on-site and off-site teams have everything they need.
